Um…. because she points at her arm means she promotes shooting up drugs… um….OK.. makes sense now…
The British Advertising Standards Agency has banned another YSL perfume ad. For some reason the Agency thinks Melanie Thierry dancing frenetically, pointing at her inner arm, and declaring “I am your addiction,” is meant to suggest drug use.

GOOGLE GETS INTO FASHION
HAS ANYONE VISITED THIS BETA SITE THAT HAS LAUNCHED TODAY? WOW….. TECHNOLOGY ENTERS THE WORLD OF FASHION….
Google launched a new fashion shopping site, Boutiques.com Wednesday morning.
Unlike nearly every other Google online product, no Google logo can be found on Boutiques.com, and the site doesn’t feature the familiar Google navigation bar along the top either.
The new shopping site was built by former members of Like.com, a visual-search company Google bought during the summer. Visual search is a search-engine method that uses images to determine what a user is looking for, rather than relying solely on text typed into a search box, as Google.com does.
Boutiques.com is looking to change the way people buy clothing and accessories online, by using a concept known as visual search, as well as giving users the option of creating their own “boutique” to serve as a filter to find items that fit into a person’s personal tastes, Google said in a blog post.

Another ad campaign selling’ sex… oh I mean jewelry. It’s John Galliano…
John Galliano has decided to sexy up his f/w jewelry ad campaign with French Supermodel Morgane Dubled. We only get a peek at her face but plenty of white skin, against a darker male model. The contrast of her pale skin allows for the jewelry, consisting of flower and daggers, to really pop out in the ads. This ad campaign isn’t as racy as the SUIT COMPANY, but lots of skin nonetheless. What do you think of the jewelzzz?
I’M LANVIN THIS….
I’m not much of an H&M fan, but damn, they are steppin up by hookin’ up with Lanvin… I hear back a few months ago that Lanvin and H&M were collaborating, and now that i’ve seen this sneak peak video… holy cow…. it just makes me want to dress up in frilly cocktail dresses and heels every single day… even if it’s just sitting at my desk doin’ work…

H&M has done collaborations with a variety of designers over the past several years, tapping everyone from Karl Lagerfeld to Stella McCartney and even Madonna. Given the deluge of fashion designers working with brands like Target, H&M and TopShop, some fashion fatigue has set in but it seems like people are very enthused about the Lanvin line, which looks like it won’t disappoint.
