My first time going to Morton’s Steakhouse in downtown San Diego.  My first but certainly not my last! Our meal was fantastic from start to finish! It included a hot fresh loaf of onion bread, caesar salad, baked potato, crab cake, filet mignon and Godiva hot chocolate lava cake.  The bread is good but not great.  Reminded me of an onion bagel and also you have to be careful not to fill up on it.  The caesar salad is really yummy! Crunchy greens and the dressing isn’t too fishy, it’s salty, garlicy and delish! Their crab cake is made with big ole chunks of sweet fresh crab meat.  YUM! The filet is cooked how you like it and to perfection.  It really does melt in your mouth and leaves you thinking about for days, wishing you had more.  To complete your meal they have quite a few desserts to choose from but don’t waste your time.  Order the hot chocolate lava cake (their specialty).  It is the best chocolate cake I have ever had in my entire life.  Until the end of March you can get all of this for only $55 per person!!! WTF! Enough said.  Just go there.
